Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, this position is responsible for leading the organization's prioritized initiatives. This includes managing project resources, schedules, financials, change, and risks, to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the desired goals and objectives of the business.

Responsibilities

Project Management

• Leads and oversees multiple medium and large-scale projects simultaneously.
• Develops comprehensive project plans including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Manages all phases of project initiatives using the project management methodology while monitoring project health, schedules, budget, resources, change, risk, and communication.

Business Partnership

• Collaborates with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Guides business units in identifying solutions for challenges, including process reengineering, requirements definition, planning, funding, change, and risk mitigation.
• Builds trusted relationships with sponsors/stakeholders, managing expectations around scope and value.

Leadership and People Management

• Leads cross-functional teams through change, utilizing the project management methodology (PMM).
• Motivates project teams, fostering collaboration and inclusivity.
• Supports team members in overcoming challenges and achieving milestones.

Delivery Effectiveness

• Ensures timely completion of project tasks within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Defines and manages quality standards and KPIs.
• Tracks progress, implements corrective actions, and manages risks.

Communication Effectiveness

• Communicates effectively in meetings, presentations, and written formats.
• Monitors and reports on project progress to stakeholders.

Organizational and Personal Development

• Updates project management documentation annually.
• Enhances project management processes.
• Seeks feedback and conducts post-project reviews for lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, IT, engineering, etc.
• Desired certifications: PMP, CBAP.
• 3-7 years (Project Manager) or 8+ years (Senior Project Manager) of relevant experience.
• Experience managing complex projects, stakeholder management, and preferably in banking/finance.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability skills.
