Other Conditions: For placement in lecturer pool beginning Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance, and availability of funds.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Teach undergraduate History courses or equivalent.
* Other related duties, including preparing course syllabus, grading, contributing assessment data, and maintaining at least one office hour per week for each History course taught.
Minimum Qualifications
* Advanced to candidacy (ABD) status as PhD student in History (or closely related field).
Desirable Qualifications
* PhD in History (or closely related field)
* Subject area expertise as evidenced by coursework, publications, or other academic and professional activity
* Prior university teaching experience, demonstrated teaching ability
