Conducts classes and provides instruction in accordance with policies, procedures and protocols as established by department. Monitors and evaluates students. Prepares, monitors and evaluates courses as required. - Performs duties under the direction of the Special Education Teacher/ Teacher in assignment to Adolescent/ Psych area. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: - Essential: standing, stooping/bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting body, finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking. - Continuous: reaching at and below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions. - Occasional: sitting, walking, crawling, reaching above shoulder level. - Operates audiovisual equipment. III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: - Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A. EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: - Associates degree from an accredited college or certified as an instructor in a specialty area.
