Purpose Statement

Under the direction of the Plant Manager, the Compliance Document Control Specialist administers processes and procedures for maintaining compliance documentation for the Synthetic Natural Gas (SNG) Plant and other associated gas processing plants. This documentation includes records required under the Company's Process Safety Management (PSM) Program, Risk Management Program (RMP), PHMSA Operating Procedures, and other compliance or reliability programs. The role ensures the completeness and accessibility of this documentation, which is vital for process improvements, maintenance, regulatory inspections, environmental governance, and personnel safety.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Implement and enforce procedures for storing and accessing compliance records and reference materials.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, approve, and update compliance documents, including SOPs, emergency procedures, and equipment specifications.
  • Maintain change logs, manage document versions, and ensure only current documents are published and accessible.
  • Manage document access privileges and perform regular reviews for security.
  • Update CAD files like P&IDs, PFDs, and SLDs using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, incident investigations, and PHAs to improve documentation management.
  • Provide training on proper documentation handling.

Other Responsibilities

  • Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
  • Follow safety rules, maintain a safe work environment, and complete required EH&S training.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years in document and data management.
  • At least 1 year in the gas, petrochemical, or processing industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
  • Experience in Process Safety Management or PHMSA-regulated facilities.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar software.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Preferred: First Aid/CPR certification.
