Job Title: Supply Chain Planning Analyst (Contractor)

Location: [Honolulu, Hawaii] | Duration: Contract

Overview:

Join a dynamic supply chain team to support the rollout of a new IT platform focused on improving parts availability, inventory accuracy, and repair turnaround for aviation maintenance. This role provides operational and analytical support during a period of systems change to help ensure continuity in service levels and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor inventory levels, usage patterns, and distribution of aircraft parts across the network
• Generate and track repair/exchange orders to support maintenance needs
• Communicate with vendors to address repair delays and quality issues
• Provide updates on high-priority parts and delivery timelines to stakeholders
• Collect and analyze data for demand forecasting and repair-vs-buy decisions
• Update inventory records and ensure part information accuracy
• Assist with inventory audits, performance reporting, and discrepancy resolution
• Help maintain planning tools and dashboards for forecasting and analysis
• Support review of surplus or underutilized inventory with planners
• Coordinate cross-functional inputs for issue resolution and planning decisions
• Prepare reports, summaries, and internal presentations as needed
• Contribute to special projects and system transitions within the supply chain team

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years of experience in materials or production planning
• Strong data analysis skills; proficiency in Excel and other analytical tools
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems

Preferred:

• Knowledge of aviation or aerospace supply chains
• Familiarity with technical documentation such as IPCs, task cards, or CMMs
• Relevant supply chain certifications (CPIM, CSCP, etc.)
