Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager, this position is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, and production support of Bank of Hawaii's Network Systems.

Supports compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and Bank policies, including Fair Banking, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, and USA PATRIOT Act.

Responsibilities

• Production Maintenance: Supports production environment, logs and tracks problems, responds to support requests, and ensures service levels are met.
• Assesses impact of user problems, assigns issues to support teams, and follows up to confirm resolution.
• Monitors system performance, develops alerting and reporting processes, and may lead problem analysis and resolution.
• Implements system updates, maintains documentation, and ensures compliance with risk management guidelines.

Implementation: Maintains systems per requirements, participates in design reviews, and documents configurations and changes.

Systems Analysis: Provides analysis and design to meet organizational needs, incorporates security policies, and supports full system lifecycle.

Testing: Develops and executes test plans, collaborates with business partners, and ensures proper documentation and approvals.

Vendor Management: Acts as primary interface with vendors, manages performance, and participates in procurement and contractual negotiations.

Leadership: Participates in team projects, educates users, and evaluates new technologies and career development opportunities.

Business Partnership: Maintains positive relationships with business units, understands their needs, and provides technical solutions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, minimum 5 years supporting Cisco Network OS, experience with network hardware and security solutions, excellent communication, and ability to work independently. Willingness to work flexible hours.
