Position Overview

Punahou Athletics supports over 120 teams across more than 30 sports, fostering student development and team spirit. We are seeking an Assistant Coach to support the Boys/Girls JV/Varsity Sporter Air Riflery team. The role involves assisting with practices, motivating students, and instructing in game strategies and techniques. Ideal candidates will have coaching experience in an educational setting, good communication and organizational skills, and the physical ability to demonstrate sport-specific positions.

Position Details

• Work Year: 3 Months
• School Year: 2025-2026, Fall Season
• Work Hours: Monday - Friday late afternoons, weekends
• Stipend Range: $400 - $2875 (based on qualifications)

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least 1 year of coaching or relevant athletic experience with leadership in an interscholastic program
• Background in teaching and working with adolescents preferred
• Knowledge of high school level athletics and game strategies
