Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Provides first contact and incident resolution to customers with hardware, software, and application problems. Includes both customer telephone support as well as electronically submitted requests.
• Provides polite and friendly customer service.
• Support all Cross-Domain solution requirements.
• Stay up-to-date and be familiar with CSfC capability packages and approved products and versions.
• Utilize network monitoring and testing tools to verify network health and availability.
• Use troubleshooting tools (e.g., ping, trace route) to diagnose incidents and escalate when necessary.
• Augment cybersecurity monitoring staff as needed.
• Support building endpoint devices, including smartphones and laptops.
• Document incident status and solutions in incident database tools.
• Provide answers to FAQs and support customer self-help capabilities.
• Assist in briefings and client adoption of CSfC services.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends for outages or maintenance.
• Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance.
• 3+ years of service desk support experience.
• BA/BS (5 years experience) or AA (7 years experience).

Certifications

• One of the following DoD8140 Certifications: CND, GFACT, GSEC, or Security+ CE.
• Preferred: Computing Environment Certification (e.g., MCSA, Linux, CCNA).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Location: Fort Shafter, HI
• Office environment, no elevator access, stairs required.
• Low noise level.
• Day shift, Monday-Friday; some evening/weekend work.
• Travel: Less than 20%.

Physical Demands

Regular use of hands, standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 50 pounds, and vision requirements.

Security & Salary

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Salary range: $58K-$65K, based on experience and organizational needs.
