Job Description

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for supporting the traffic control operation of our traffic department, all islands by fabricating their signage requirements in a timely manner. This position is also responsible for receiving, checking orders from various vendors before delivering it to the customer or putting it on the shelves. This position also supports and manufactures orders being generated by our outer island branches.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Fabricate customs, OSHA and MUTCD approved signs
• Fabricate architectural and ADA compliant signs with braille
• Fabricate directories and wayfinding signs
• Install signs of all kinds with various general contractors, government agencies and the military
• Deliver customer's orders
• Assist with inventory and stocking of merchandise
• Assist walk-in customers by helping them with signs, sign supports and or fasteners they would need for their project
• Clean and organize warehouse daily

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Coachable and willing to be trained on daily task
• Knowledge on sign production and operation is preferred
• Ability to screen print various types of signs
• Ability to install traffic and architectural signs
• Ability to use various sign shop equipment like laminator, router, interstate, sheeting machine, portable tools, post pounder, etc.
• Strong customer service
• Driver license preferred
• High sense of urgency and to keep up with demands
• Other misc. duties as directed by Manager

The hiring range for this position is $18 per hour. The base pay offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
