RESPONSIBILITIESI. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms a variety of duties related to receiving, shipping and verification of materiel in accordance with established policies and procedures.II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDSContinuous: pushing and pulling 5-15psi, standing, walking, forward reaching, grasping, handling, fingering, seeing, hearing, speaking. Frequent to continuous: bending, squatting, stooping. Frequent: crouching, twisting, overhead reach, pushing and pulling 30-60psi, lifting – up to 45 lbs (floor to knuckle, knuckle to shoulder, shoulder to overhead), carrying up to 45 lbs. Occasional – sitting, stair climbing, kneeling, side bending, pushing and pulling 100psi, lifting – 75+ lbs with assistance (floor to knuckle, knuckle to shoulder), lifting – 35 lbs (shoulder to overhead), carrying 75+ lbs. with assistance. Machines, tools and work aids: Pallet jack/lift, hand truck, wagons, carts, forklift, box cutter, strapping machine, computer and MMIS systems.III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONSExposed to both inside and outside environmental conditions such as heat, wind, rain and humidity. Subjected to fumes, gases, odors, dust, mists, poor ventilation when working outside the receiving dock. Exposed to chemicals, communicable diseases, hazardous materials, working around moving mechanical parts/equipment, uneven surfaces and slippery conditions.IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSA. Education:Ability to read, speak, write and understand English.B.
